CSRC Membership Drive
Dear Fellow RT,
The Colorado Society for Respiratory Care (CSRC) is seeking your help to increase our professional membership totals within the state. Currently, approximately 20% of all licensed respiratory therapists in Colorado are members of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) which automatically makes you a member of the CSRC. Our goal is to:Increase membership to 50%
- Invite you to become a membership recruitment champion
- Have the greatest % of departmental staff members be new members
- Work collectively with the CSRC to increase membership
- Increase the respiratory voice heard across the state
By responding with your commitment to the CSRC and our efforts, you will have the opportunity to impact our profession statewide. To start making an immediate impact, please respond to membership@colosrc.org to:
- Become a recruitment champion
- Submit your departmental new AARC membership numbers to be eligible for the Departmental New Membership Award
- Obtain a short power point presentation on the importance of membership
- Ask for board members’ assistance to present at your next department meeting
The champion that recruits the most AARC members will be recognized with an award during the awards ceremony at the CSRC state conference in Breckenridge along with a paid AARC annual membership. The Departmental New Membership award will be awarded to the department that has had the greatest percent membership increase. This award will also be given at the state conference.
